Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy explains what information 100 Local Networking LLC (“we”, “us”) collects through the 100 Local Near business directory, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the directory you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following information.

  • Listing details you submit: business name, category, state, city, ZIP code, phone number, email address, website, services and description.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number and your message.
  • Reviews you post, where reviews are switched on: your name, email address, star rating and review text.
  • Technical information sent by your browser: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you open and the time of your visit.

We also list businesses using business contact information that is publicly available or has been provided to us, such as a business name, phone number and the state it serves.

How we use information

  • To publish and display business listings so local customers can find them.
  • To review, approve, edit or remove listings and reviews.
  • To reply to your messages and requests.
  • To keep the directory secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To understand how the directory is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

What is shown publicly

Listing details are published on the directory and can be seen by anyone, including search engines. This includes the business name, category, location, phone number, website, email address if one was provided for the listing, services and description.

When you post a review, your name, rating and review text are shown publicly. The email address you enter with a review is not displayed.

Messages sent through the contact form are not published.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases.

  • With service providers that help us run the directory, such as website hosting and email delivery, who may use it only to provide those services to us.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or ourselves.
  • As part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

Cookies and similar technology

The directory uses a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work, for example to keep staff signed in and to remember the name and email of someone who posts a review, if they choose that option. Fonts on these pages are delivered by Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers when a page loads. If we use analytics tools, they may set their own cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Updating or removing a business listing

If you own or represent a listed business, you can ask us at any time to correct, update or remove its listing. Send your request through our contact page and include the business name and state so we can find it. We may ask for information to confirm that you are authorized to act for the business.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. To make a request, use our contact page. We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may keep information where the law requires or allows us to, for example to keep a record of a removal request.

How long we keep information

We keep listing information for as long as the listing is published, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. We keep messages and reviews for as long as they are needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No website can guarantee complete security, so please do not send us sensitive information such as payment card or Social Security numbers.

Children

The directory is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Listings and articles may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If you keep using the directory after a change, the updated policy applies.
